I HAVE EITHER GIVEN AWAY OR SOLD DAMN NEAR EVERY PAINTING I HAVE EVER DONE...BELOW ARE A FEW THAT I GOT A PHOTO OR TWO OF BEFORE SENDING THEM OFF. I FIND IT BOTH ROMANTIC AND SUITABLE THAT I HAVE SPENT THOUSANDS OF HOURS PAINTING AND HAVE LITTLE TO NO RECORD OF ANYTHING I HAVE DONE OVER THE LAST 19-20 YEARS OF PRODUCING AND SHOWING PIECES. THEY SERVE THEIR PURPOSE FOR ME IN THE ACT OF CREATING THEM WHICH USUALLY TAKES PLACE IN ONE SESSION BUT AS MANY AS FIVE SESSIONS OF ANYWHERE BETWEEN ONE AND (WELL IN MY YOUNGER INSOMNIAC YEARS) UP TO OVER 24 HOURS A SESSION. I GUESS I HAVE ALWAYS FELT A STRONG INSTINCT OR INTUITION TO GET RID OF THEM BEFORE THE SHOW ENDED SO I WOULDN'T HAVE TO TAKE ANYTHING HOME, OR I'D PROMISE THEM OFF TO FRIENDS EVEN BEFORE I FINISH THEM. I AM STILL AVAILABLE FOR COMMISSIONED PORTRAITS, MURALS, ETC.

"BigBangBoardroom"-2004 Acrylic / Collage / Cheap Markers / Oil / Prismacolor Pencils / Watercolor on wood
The wooden floor on this piece took me almost one hundred hours! It is made equally from three techniques: one third of the planks are cut out wood-grains from a unfinished furniture catalog that were sometimes left alone and glued and other times painted or altered in some way before attaching; one third of the planks are hand drawn and or painted right on the wood as is the rest of the piece (save the red transparent guy on the far end of the couch who I painted on paper and then scanned and printed on a transparency then cut and pasted using spray adhesive) ; the remaining third are thin layers of cheap marker lines smeared and mixed on the surface with wood glue which was also done four or five times over all the rest of the floor to get the lighting and consistency right and then a few layers of matte finish before watercolor washes finished the effect! The rest of the piece probably has another forty hours or so in it. It resides in Chris Quarters' private collection along with the other one or two pieces in the set it belongs to.
